Nijs

Jan Hoekstra over zijn eigen bedrijfje: “In soad dingen dy ’t ik noch leare moat”

Sinds een tijdje staat Jan Hoekstra (15) in de Grutte Gelf met zijn eigen advertentie. Hij heeft een fietsreparatiebedrijfje. Als je een lekke band hebt of als je fiets een algemene beurt nodig heeft, kun je jouw fiets zonder zorgen bij Jan overlaten. Achter het huis heeft hij een speciale ruimte waar hij aan het werk gaat. De Grutte Gelf ging bij hem langs en hielp een handje mee.

Kennismaking met Ko & Naomi... en Bob

Op woensdag 4 juni schoof ik ‘s avond aan de tafel bij Ko & Naomi, op it Súd 6. Ik word vriendelijk begroet, ook door Bob de Berner Sennen hond van 6 jaar oud. Ik was hun al een paar keer tegengekomen tijdens wandelingen met de hond en we hadden ook al wel gesproken met elkaar. En toen heb ik gewoon een keer gevraagd of ze het leuk vonden om mee te werken aan een interview, en dat wilden ze wel. ‘Bob is misschien nog wel bekender dan wij in het dorp’ zegt Naomi.

Vrijwilligers BBQ bij De Delfeart

Zondag 23 juni was er een vrijwilligersbarbecue georganiseerd bij en door MFC De Delfeart. De opkomst was groot. Mede door het mooie weer werden de vrijwilligers dubbel in het zonnetje gezet. Het was een hele gezellige middag/avond met lekker eten en een drankje. Bedankt vrijwilligers van de Delfeart! (Foto’s: Bestuur De Delfeart)

Interview met Derick Hiemstra

Derick Hiemstra van It Koartwâld heeft als grote hobby vogels kijken en ringen, oftewel Ornithologie, daarnaast is hij gymleraar. Hij treedt hiermee in de voetsporen van zijn vader die dezelfde hobby had en ook leraar (Biologie en Geschiedenis) was. ‘Met deze baan heb je veel tijd voor de hobby’, zei zijn vader al, door de schoolvakanties.

Leeftijd: 49 jaar.

Verlief, verloofd, getrouwd? Samenwonend met Martijn.

Waar woon je nu: in Utrecht.

Wat heeft jou daar gebracht? Voor mijn studie verhuisde ik op mijn achttiende naar Groningen. Daarna ging ik samenwonen in Zwolle. Vanwege onze banen en omdat we Utrecht een mooie en leuke stad vinden, verhuisden we in 2008 naar Utrecht. 

Uitslag klaverjassen

Het klaverjassen 2023-2024 in De Delfeart ligt alweer achter ons.
De laatste avond was 19 april, waar de competitieprijzen ook werden uitgedeeld.

Er waren 5 prijzen te verdelen:

De competitie 2024-2025 gaat in september weer beginnen.
We nodigen iedereen die graag een kaartje wil leggen hartelijk uit op vrijdag 13 september om 19.30 uur in De Delfeart.

Tsjerkepaad 2024

De Doarpstsjerke in Surhuizum, zal deze zomer alle 11 zaterdagen van 6 juli t/m 14 september tijdens het Tsjerkepaad 2024 open zijn van 13.30 uur tot 17.00 uur.

Tijdens het openstellen van de kerk kunnen er verschillende activiteiten te zien of te beluisteren zijn:
