Fiets Totaal Doortrapdag

De Fiets Totaal Doortrap Dag is bedoeld om gezellig samen te fietsen en meer te leren over veiligheid op de fiets. Liefhebbers kunnen 15 juni opstappen in Surhuizum.

In beweging blijven, genieten van de mooie natuur en in contact komen met gezellige andere senior-fietsliefhebbers. Wie dat iets lijkt, kan zich aanmelden door een mail te sturen naar doortrappen@fietsersbond.nl.

In Surhuizum is onder meer aandacht voor fietsen in een groep, op- en afstappen, remmen, lastige verkeerssituaties en fietsen op een e-bike. Daarna wordt de Doortraproute in de gemeente gefietst, onder begeleiding van docenten van de Fietsersbond. Na de tocht is er een gezamenlijke lunch.

Doortrappen in Friesland is bedoeld om senioren te stimuleren vaker te fietsen. Fietsen is goed voor de gezondheid, sociale contacten en mobiliteit van senioren in de provincie. Bovendien draagt het bij aan recreatie en duurzaamheid. Het programma wordt omarmd door de achttien Friese Doortrap gemeenten en de provincie Friesland (zie ook https://www.frieslandbeweegt.frl/doortrappen.frl.php)

De start op 15 juni is bij het dorpshuis van Surhuizum, het evenement is van 9.30-13.30 uur.
