Het ‘vergeten straatje’ van Surhuizum

Het is inmiddels al een hele tijd geleden toen ik vroeg ik om luchtfoto’s van huizen van aan de Doarpsstrjitte (west kant). Waarom persé van deze kant? Het ging mij om het volgende. Voor deze oproep, sprak ik met Henk Kooistra op een feestje. Daar kwam een oude, niet meer bestaande, straat ter sprake: De Finnen. Henk is nl. daar geboren en opgegroeid. Deze straat (streekje) was gelegen tussen de Pûs - It Langpaad en de Doarpsstrjitte. Hier stonden 3 ‘wâldhûskes’ bij elkaar en in één ervan woonde Henk met zijn ouders Roel en Klaske Kooistra en 2 zussen.
