Gezellige geslaagde Avond4daagse

Jong en oud ging afgelopen week (13 t/m 16 mei) vier avonden op pad tijdens de Avond4daagse. Zo’n 110 wandelaars liepen routes van 5 en 10 kilometer in en rond Augustinusga.

Iedere avond was er voor de deelnemers een andere route uitgestippeld. Het startte rond 18.00 uur met een gezellige drukte bij Jeugdhonk Stynsgea waar alle wandelaars zich verzamelden om de route van die dag te beginnen. De deelnemers lieten hun kaart knippen, namen een stuk fruit mee voor onderweg en gingen in groepjes op pad. Tijdens de route werd men op verschillende oversteekplaatsen begeleid door de verkeersregelaars en halverwege kreeg men wat te drinken en iets lekkers. Alle routes eindigden ook weer bij Jeugdhonk Stynsgea waar er na de controleknip op de kaart nog gezellig werd nagepraat. Kinderen konden nog wat water of ranja tappen en wat lekkers kopen.

Drie avonden genoot iedereen van het zonnige weer. Donderdag was de organisatie helaas genoodzaakt de route in te korten vanwege het onweer en viel het warme onthaal door De Bazuin in het water.

We zijn enorm blij met zo’n grote opkomst van deelnemers uit Surhuizum en Augustinusga. Foto’s van alle avonden zijn terug te vinden op de facebookpagina Avond4daagse Stynsgea. Via deze weg willen we alle vrijwilligers en sponsoren van harte bedanken. Zonder jullie konden we dit evenement niet organiseren. Wij kijken terug op een geslaagd sportief evenement met een gezellige sfeer.
